CiviKos Platform organized the first working/advocacy group’s informative meeting, established by Platforma Civikos, with the support of the Citizen Engagement Activity (CEA), a partnership between USAID and Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF). These groups were established based on the four objectives of the Government Strategy for Cooperation with Civil Society 2019-2023, which are as follows: · Increasing civil society participation in policy-making; · Improvement of the regulatory and institutional framework for financing sustainability of programs and projects of CSOs in public interest; · Developing practices and procedures of contracting of CSOs for the provision of public services; · Increasing volunteering in programs of public interest. During the joint meeting of the four working groups, it was discussed about the Governmental Strategy, its mechanisms and the importance of its implementation, as well as the role of the working/advocacy groups.
