A new step for Kosovo civil society in Europe! The Civikos Platform has been selected as an Enlargement Candidate Member (ECM) within the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) – one of the main mechanisms for civil society dialogue in the European Union. This paves the way for Kosovo civil society to contribute directly to European discussions and opinions, even before accession to the European Union. As a national network of NGOs and co-chair of the Council for Government-Civil Society Cooperation, this role enables us to bring the voice of our sector to the European level. This is an important step for all NGOs and for strengthening civic dialogue towards a Kosovo closer to Europe.
