The final session on Personal Data Protection was held in Gjakova, organized by Platforma CiviKos in cooperation with the Agency for Information and Privacy (AIP), marking the successful conclusion of a series of open sessions conducted across Kosovo.
Representatives from central institutions, civil society, and the private sector took part in in-depth discussions on the implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection, raising practical questions and sharing field experiences.
Commissioner Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku emphasized AIP’s role in safeguarding citizens’ right to privacy and underlined the importance of an inclusive approach to digital security.
This information session was held within the framework of the project “Strengthening Personal Data Protection and Cybersecurity Across All Sectors in Kosovo”, supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
