In Prishtina, an information session on the Law on Personal Data Protection was held, organized by Platforma Civikos in cooperation with the Agency for Information and Privacy (AIP).
Representatives from institutions, civil society, and the private sector actively participated in in-depth discussions on the implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection, raising concrete questions and sharing field-based experiences.
Commissioner Krenare Sogojeva Dermaku emphasized AIP’s role in safeguarding citizens’ right to privacy and highlighted the importance of an inclusive approach to digital security.
This session not only strengthens cross-sectoral cooperation but also sends a clear message: Privacy is a fundamental right of every citizen, and shared responsibility.
This information session was held within the framework of the project “Strengthening Personal Data Protection and Cybersecurity Across All Sectors in Kosovo”, supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
