Donika Emini, Executive Director of CiviKos Platform, has held two separate meetings last week with the Deputy Secretary General of the Government, Mr. Arben Krasniqi, as well as with the Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Mrs. Venera Çerkini. The meeting discussion expanded on the cooperation between civil society and the Government, with the focus on the implementation of the Government Strategy for Cooperation with Civil Society 2019-2023. The importance of the engagement of the Secretary Generals from the respective ministries in the work of the Council for Cooperation between Government and the Civil Society is essential for advancment of the implementation of the strategic objectives and the cooperation between the two sectors. CiviKos Platform will continue with regular meetings with the Secretary Generals of the ministries, to ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of the Government Strategy. These meetings are being organized with the support of the Citizen Engagement Activity (CEA), a partnership between the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and the #USAID in Kosovo.
